Hey Lifestyle Lover,
Tanya Bardsley is back and this time, it’s not just all about the glamour and drama, but the beautifully chaotic reality of family life in her new show, The Bardsley Bunch.
Tanya once a familiar face on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, is inviting viewers into her world again but this time, it’s less glitz and glam and way more giggles, with her brand-new reality series, The Bardsley Bunch, airing on ITVBe. The show offers a front-row seat to the rollercoaster that is her everyday family life, and honestly, it’s a refreshing, laugh out loud take on modern parenting, marriage, and everything in between.
After stepping back from the Housewives spotlight to focus on her health, Tanya is back and she’s never been more herself. There’s no script, no glamourised version of motherhood. What you see is what you get, and that’s exactly what makes the show so watchable. Tanya lives in a full house in Wilmslow with her husband Phil, a former Premier League footballer, their four kids Gabriella, Rocco, Renz, and Ralphi and her parents Steve and Julie, and even her great nana, who is already shaping up to be an unexpected star of the series from the opening credits playing football in the garden.
The energy of the show is chaotic in the best way. One minute you’re watching a peaceful morning routine, the next it’s complete carnage with a Yorkshire pudding style birthday cake gone wrong, a trumpet, and someone being mowed down in the driveway. (You will have to watch to see who it was) It’s funny, unfiltered, and totally relatable to anyone who’s ever tried to keep a household running while attempting to keep their own sanity intact.
What’s clear is that Tanya’s heart is in the right place. She’s not trying to be a perfect mum, wife, or entrepreneur she’s just trying her best. Between running her business and chasing after her kids, she’s navigating life with her usual sense of humour and that sharp, unapologetic honesty she’s always been known for, and that’s what makes The Bardsley Bunch such a joy to watch.
There’s something comforting about seeing a family who clearly love each other, even when they’re driving each other mad. The show doesn’t shy away from the tough bits either. Tanya has been vocal about her struggles with anxiety and ADHD, and those real conversations add depth to what could have been just another glossy family show. Instead, we’re getting something more grounded something that actually reflects what it’s like to be pulled in ten different directions while still trying to laugh through it all.
Whether you’re tuning in for Tanya’s one liners, the adorable kids, or just to feel like your own family might be relatively normal, The Bardsley Bunch is a welcome new addition to the world of reality TV. It’s warm, funny, a little chaotic, and totally watchable the kind of show you put on with a cuppa and end up being engrossed in the show. It’s not just bloody brilliant; it’s blooming marvellous.
Catch it on ITVBe, and don’t be surprised if you start to feel like part of the Bardsley family by the end of the first episode.
With love,
